Description
Something needs to be done to slow down traffic on Rose Ave. Multiple vehicles have been hit when parked, and there are frequent collisions at the 2 way stop intersections. This is unacceptable for a small residential street. How are there no speed bumps on this road yet. They have been continuously requested by multiple residents over the past 10 years.

- Staff · March 13, 2024The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed on Rose Ave between Yancey St and Graham Rd for a 48hour period averaged around 27mph. This sample is in compliance with the posted 25 mph speed. Speed tables are not planned. 25mph signs are present in each direction on Rose Ave.
