Description

People fly down Thompson St between Monument and Broad. It is a residential area with people jogging and walking their dogs. There are also a few businesses as well, with people utilizing street parking or coming from thr bus stop and having to cross Thompson street. It can be quite treacherous to cross with speeding traffic.

    Crosswalks and Stop for Pedestrian signs are present on Thompson at Grace. A crosswalk is also on Thompson at Cutshaw. Thompson and Broad and at Monument have crosswalks and pedestrian signals. DPW will plan to install 25mph signs on Thompson and install enhanced speeding penalty signs on Thompson in accordance with a City Council Resolution.
