- Staff · February 27, 2024The Department of Public Works must perform engineering studies in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. All all-way stops must meet the warrants in the MUTCD. The intersection of Leigh St and Altamont Ave does not meet the traffic requirements for an all-way stop. To enhance intersection sight distance Leigh St has No Parking signs on three corners at Altamont Ave and a fire hydrant on the other corner.
