Description
Lived on this street for years and the city has done nothing about driver behavior. A truck almost hit me at full throttle (probably going 35-40mph) while getting groceries out of my car in the middle of the day. Please do something, it's bordering on negligence. I'm tired of feeling unsafe while walking out of my house.

- Staff · February 26, 2024The focused approach to speed management in the City (such as a speed table) first considers the distance of a free flow street of at least 1200’ in length without traffic signals, existing traffic calming measures or stopped conditions on the major street. Davis Ave stops at Grayland Ave and at lakeview Ave. This measures about 700’ therefore a speed table is not planned. 25mph signs are currently posted in each direction on Davis Ave.
