    The focused approach to speed management first considers the distance of a free flow street of at least 1200’ in length without traffic signals, existing traffic calming measures or stopped conditions on the major street. Barton Ave between Essex St and Brookland Park Blvd measures about 520’ so speed tables are not planned.
