Comments

- Staff · February 22, 2024The Fire Marshall does not support any additional speed tables on the Forest Hill Ave / Bainbridge St corridor. This street is classified as an Urban Minor Arterial, carries about 6,000 vehicles a day and is a strategic route for emergency vehicles. DPW must perform engineering studies in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. All all-way stops must meet the warrants in the MUTCD. The intersection of Forest Hill Ave and 30th St does not meet the traffic requirements for an all-way stop. Also, the Forest Hill Ave and 34th St does not meet the traffic requirements for an all-way stop.
