Description

People use our street to bypass the long light at mcguire. They drive at absurd speeds. We need a couple speed bumps. Signage won’t solve the problem

The focused approach on speed management in the City’s Neighborhood Traffic Management Program first considers the distance of a free flow street of at least 1200’ in length in a tangent section without traffic signals, existing traffic calming measures or stopped conditions on the major street. Besides the stop sign at Belt Blvd Stockton St stops at Spaine St and at McGuire St. These sections are much less than the 1200’ when we consider speed tables, so we are not currently planning to install speed tables on Stockton St.
