- Staff · February 6, 2024The focused approach on speed management in the City’s Neighborhood Traffic Management Program first considers the distance of a free flow street of at least 1200’ in length in a tangent section without traffic signals, existing traffic calming measures or stopped conditions on the major street. The tangent section on St Peter St between W. Charity St and the curve north of W. Coutts St is about 800’ and does not meet the minimum distance for consideration of a speed table. 25mph signs are planned for both directions on St Peter St. AF - See my email about a sign work order. TB
- Staff · July 14, 2025Further review found that speed limit signs currently exist on W Charity Street, so speed limit signs on St. Peter St are no longer necessary. The Department will continue to monitor conditions as we use our limited resources to address the High Injury Network.
