Description
Once again! On January 26th another serious accident happened at the CAROLINA AVE and HIGHLAND ST. intersection. The vehicle on Highland ran the stop sign. The vehicle on Carolina was speeding. Numerous requests for a roundabout and speed humps have been submitted over the past three years. Why has NOTHING been done to address this problem?

- Staff · July 11, 2025Vehicle speeds on Carolina Avenue and Highland Street have been coming down as neighborhood traffic calming has been implemented. Near the intersection, 85% of people are driving at or below 28 MPH. All necessary signs and stop bar markings have been installed in this area. No other changes will be implemented at this time.
