Description
Constant drag racing at night occurs up and down this stretch of Chippenham road. Please help by adding some speed controls, maybe stagger the stoplights, add speed cameras, or post police officers here more regularly. (THIS REQUEST IS FOR CHIPPENHAM, NOT KENMORE ROAD) There is no way to place the spotter on Chippenham when submitting this request. My last request was canceled, with the respondent mentioning traffic on Kenmore, not on Chippenham (see picture attached).

- Staff · January 29, 2024Traffic calming type measures are not planned on Chippenham Pkwy because Chippenham Pkwy is classified as an Urban Freeway (the same as Powhite Pkwy) and carries about 40,000 vehicles a day. These are strategic routes for emergency vehicles. 45mph signs are posted throughout the corridor. This request for enforcement was sent to the Richmond Police Department.
