Description
Need to raise the crosswalks and refuce speed to 25mph. Its residential one side of the street and a school on the other side. Vehicles speed excessively and dont yield to pedestrians in crosswalk. I was almost killed trying to cross the street.

- Staff · January 26, 2024Malvern Ave between Monument Ave and Broad St has the following key traffic control devices: - 35mph speed limit signs - 25mph flashers at school activities - Pedestrian crossing signs - Bike lanes for most of the section - Crosswalks o Monument Ave (with pedestrian signals) o Grace St o Cutshaw Ave o Augusta Ave o Fitzhugh Ave o Broad St (with pedestrian signals) The Malvern speed limit is proper to the street conditions with no plans to reduce to 25mph. Raised crosswalks is a capital improvement and not currently funded.
