Description
5:45pm 01/18/23 - 2 individuals and a dog were crossing as traffic honked and flashed lights. This cross walk is used frequently and at one point a sign was placed in the middle of both lanes. Replacement signs are needed before a fatality occurs. Both sides of Shield on Main. Speed hump would be fantastic!

- Staff · December 19, 2024I understand that “stop for pedestrian” signs are no longer being installed in the middle of the travel lanes at this time due to the many city-wide sign knockdowns. The Fire Marshall does not support speed tables on Main St near Shields Ave. Main St is classified as an Urban Minor Arterial and is a strategic route for emergency vehicles.
