Description
This intersection is dangerous. There is a stop sign on Front st that many cars ignore and makes it dangerous for the children, walkers, & cars driving down 2nd Ave. A lot of cars driving up and down 2nd Ave. also speed to and from the circle at the end of the street. Please make this a four way stop to create a safer place for our families.

- Staff · January 25, 2024The Department of Public Works (DPW) must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. All all-way stops must meet the warrants in the MUTCD. The intersection of 2nd Ave and Front St does not currently meet the traffic volume requirements for an all-way stop. A speed table is planned on 2nd Ave between Burns St and Pollock St.
