- Staff · January 23, 2024The focused approach on speed management in the City’s Neighborhood Traffic Management Program first considers the distance of a free flow street of at least 1200’ in length in a tangent section without traffic signals, existing traffic calming measures or stopped conditions on the major street. W 29th St is one-way westbound between Bainbridge St and Semmes Ave, measures about 1450’ with stops at Perry St and at Semmes Ave. W. 29th St between Bainbridge St and Perry St measures about 725’. W. 29th St between Perry St and Semmes Ave measures about 700’. The minimum street section measurement for consideration of a speed table is 1200’ of free follow traffic. Given the stopped condition at Perry St (stop sign and pavement marking stop bar are present) and the distance between stops DPW is not currently planning a speed table on W. 29th St.
