Description
The triangular island that is part of the crosswalk across 9th St on the south side of E Cary St has (2) rusted steel stubs from old street signs that stick up about 1 inch above the concrete and are a tripping hazard. I've accidentally caught my foot on one of these the last 2 times I've crossed this intersection. These could likely be grinded down to be flush with the sidewalk to eliminate the issue without digging into the concrete sidewalk.
