Description

Simply adding ALL/4-way stop signs would save lives here (and throughout Scott's Addition). Cars making the right turn from Roseneath onto W Moore St nearly hit pedestrians here daily. Cars cannot see pedestrians crossing due to street parking at this corner and the angle of the turn. New apartments and breweries in this area mean many people both walking and driving.

DPW must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. All all-way stops must meet the warrants in the MUTCD. All-way stops are not planned at this time since Roseneath Rd and Moore St does not meet the MUTCD traffic volume requirements. No Parking signs were installed on Roseneath at Moore earlier but the 2023 google street view shows some missing signs. These will be re-installed to enhance intersection sight distance.
