Description

There are two marked crosswalks over 25th and neither have a State Law: Yield to Pedestrians sign. There is an elementary school right here and a crossing guard is almost never there to assist children and families at crossing.

    DPW will plan to install Stop for Pedestrians signs on 25th St at Grace St. AF – See my email about a sign work order – TB

    As of 2025, the Department does not install these types of signs due to the expense of replacing signs that are repeatedly driven over. Virginia law states that drivers must yield to pedestrians when in crosswalk. No changes will be implemented at this time.
