Description
My family is almost run over at the intersection of E Main & 25th on a near-daily basis. The cause of our frequent near misses is cars that turn and do not look for pedestrians. The intersection needs significant measures to control the traffic and provide protected pedestrian crossing time. Installing "no turn on red" signs in all directions would at least provide safe crossing through half the crosswalk during the pedestrian light. A red left turn light is also needed but is a larger project.
