We would heavily benefit from traffic calming infrastructure on the 2800 block of east Franklin alongside Libby hill park. Cars speed past daily while park goers are put in harms way. A stop sign or speed bump would be extremely beneficial to the safety of the community.

- Staff · November 22, 2023The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed on Franklin St between 25th St and 29th St for a 48hour period averaged around 27mph. This sample is in compliance with the posted 25 mph speed. Speed tables are not planned.
