Description

Caller is concerned of folks in this area not obeying the speed limit she is just moving there and has noticed that folks are driving real fast and she has two kids and is afraid of them getting hit...Caller would like speed bumps are some thing to slow done the vehicles for safety.

    The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed on Lochaven Blvd between Richmond Hwy and Gray St for a 48hour period averaged around 25mph. This sample is in compliance with the posted 25 mph speed. Speed tables are not planned.
