Description

The bend in Dock St. (starting at the intersection with S 22nd St. and moving East) has numerous cars that will cross over the lane since the bend in the road isn't good for the speed. I would like to see pedestrian-friend dividers installed to prevent cars from crossing over the line during the bend. This can be witnessed best around 3-5pm in the weekday evening, A divider would keep people in their lanes through the bend and prevent a possible accident.

An eight-year DMV crash search revealed two "side-swipe same direction / side-swipe opposite direction" type crashes on Dock St between 22nd St and Pear St. The installation of “Pedestrian-friend dividers” is a capital improvement and not planned at this time.
