This is a five-way intersection with no crosswalks or pedestrian signage. There are children living on four of the five “corners” and visibility is bad in both directions when watching for cross traffic on Dundee which does not have a stop sign in either direction. Through drivers from semmes/forest hill to Midlothian has no speed mitigation or stop signs for the entire stretch.

Comments
- Staff · October 27, 2023Cityworks ID: 514254
- Staff · December 8, 2023The DMV five year crash database does not reveal any reported crashes at the intersection of Dundee Ave / W. 34th St / Moody Ave therefore pedestrian signage and crosswalks are not planned. DPW follows the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program guidelines for the installation of speed tables on City streets. The minimum street section measurement for consideration of a speed table is 1200’ of free follow traffic. Given the length of Dundee Ave between the traffic circle at Crutchfield St and the stop sign at Moody Ave at about 400’, DPW is not planning any speed tables.
