Description
Forest Hill Avenue from Huguenot Road to Stony Point Road lacks any markings leading to excessive speeding. Vehicles approach the intersection with Stony Point Road at a high rate of speed (in excess of 40 mph). The absence of a stop bar makes this an unpredictable intersection for pedestrians. Similarly, vehicles turning onto Forest Hill Avenue from Stony Point Road are not primed to be aware of pedestrians. Adding a marked crosswalk and signage would make this a safer intersection.
