Description
There need to be speed control efforts on Garden Road between Garfield Rd. and Oldham Rd. Speed control bumps have been placed on Stony Point-Evansway-Cedar Grove Rd and Garfield Rd, but no speed control bumps were placed on Garden Road around JB Fisher Elementary. Garden Road is a significant source of speeding due to it being a "cut through" for St. Michaels and Trinity parents. This road is walked by families every morning and speeding is a serious danger for the children of the school.

- Staff · October 24, 2023The City hired a consultant a few years ago to perform a comprehensive traffic calming study for the entire Huguenot Neighborhood. Public meetings were also held to obtain public input. The recommended speed tables were installed this year. No additional calming studies are planned at this time.
