Description

We have had a healthy tree in our tree box, so healthy that the roots broke through the water meter. The RVA public utilities repaired the water meter and will return to move the meter. In order to repair the meter, the workers had to cut half of the tree roots, then they filled the hole with gravel. I am wondering if the tree is safe as I have watched trees topple over during storms. Thank you.

    Sometimes this happens and the tree never seems to be affected and other times there is a fast decline. The best thing to do is keep an eye on it for changes and contact us after tree leaf's out in the spring if you notice any significant changes.
