Description
Cut through traffic and speeding on 1700 block of Wilmington Ave., 23227 - avoiding traffic light at Hermitage & Laburnum. Speed bumps would be appreciated.

- Staff · October 11, 2023The focused approach on speed management in the City’s Neighborhood Traffic Management Program first considers the distance of a free flow street of at least 1200’ in length without traffic signals, existing traffic calming measures or stopped conditions on the major street. An all-way stop exists at Lanvale. Wilmington between Hermitage and Lanvale measures about 980’. The distance between Lanvale and Rosedale is about 800’. These conditions do not meet the 1200’ length mentioned above therefore speed tables are not planned.
