Description
Ginter Park Terrace- To reduce the level of unnecessary traffic on the (one-way) 3000 block of Edgewood Avenue. Install a "No thru traffic" sign at the entrance of the 3000 block of Edgewood Avenue at Brookland Park Blvd.

- Staff · October 4, 2023The general practice for DPW is to manage traffic in place along public streets in lieu of placing restrictions such as No Thru Traffic signs. There are several streets parallel to Edgewood Ave that are one-way and function the same way as Edgewood. An eight year DMV crash search showed two reported crashes on Edgewood between Ladies Mile Rd and Brookland Park Blvd. One crash was reported in October 2019 and one reported in May 2023. Although both were “sideswipe same direction” they were about four years between the crashes. No Thru Traffic signs are not planned.
