- Staff · October 4, 2023The general practice for DPW is to manage traffic in place along public streets in lieu of placing restrictions such as No Thru Traffic signs. There are several streets parallel to Montrose Ave that are one-way and function the same way as Montrose. An eight year DMV crash search showed two reported crashes on Montrose between Ladies Mile Rd and Brookland Park Blvd with no crash patterns. One crash was reported in 2019 (sideswipe opposite direction) and one in 2020 (angle). No Thru Traffic signs are not planned.
