On Warwick at Kaki Dr there are bike lane symbols with arrows both upstream and downstream of the intersection, along with green conflict zone markings for the start of the right turn lane leading to Whitehead Rd. The Department must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before proposing a traffic control signal. Warrants in the MUTCD Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices must be met. This is a federal publication that applies to all streets open to pubic travel. The intersection of Warwick Rd and Kaki Dr does not meet the conditions set forth in the MUTCD for a traffic control signal.
