DPW collects transportation data and when the data supports a physical traffic calming measure such as a speed table we seek approval from the Fire Marshall before proceeding to design and installation. The data on Bellevue supports speed tables however the Fire Marshall did not approve the installation given Bellevue is also an emergency route for their vehicles. Electronic speed feedback signs are planned on Bellevue.
