Description
This is an extremely busy pedestrian intersection with a grocery store on the corner and multiple restaurants and breweries within 1 block of this intersection. Cars often speed up Roseneath and fail to stop for pedestrians who are IN THE CROSSWALK. As Scotts Addition continues to get busier with more people walking across these streets, they need to be given the opportunity to cross the street safely with the help of stop signs.

- Staff · September 29, 2023The Department of Public Works (DPW) must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. All all-way stops must meet the warrants in the MUTCD. This intersection does not currently meet the traffic volume requirements for an all-way stop. A raised crosswalk (speed table with a crosswalk on top) is planned on Roseneath at Moore.
