Description

Speed bumps would be helpful (similar to what was done on Cherokee road). There are no sidewalks on this street and cars are constantly speeding. It endangers pedestrians, drivers, and students getting dropped off after school by bus. Lived here for 4 years and have personally witnessed accidents occurring due to speeding.

Bliley Rd between Forest Hill Ave and Blakemore Rd has a functional class of “Urban Collector”. The Fire Marshall does not support speed tables on this strategic route for emergency vehicles. A consultant reviewed Bliley between Forest Hill and Blakemore earlier and make preliminary recommendations for pedestrian and bike accommodations but I did not see this improvement in the adopted FY24 Capital Improvement Plan.
