Description

Please put a speed control on Lanvale between Wilmington and Laburnum which is used as a race track cut through for many of Richmond's "finest drivers". I'm unable to upload my video of multiple cars, in a few short seconds, speeding through the stop sign (that is your excuse for not building the speed bump). I guess nothing will be done until someone is maimed or killed on Lanvale.

The focused approach on speed management in the City’s Neighborhood Traffic Management Program first considers the distance of a free flow street of at least 1200’ in length without traffic signals, existing traffic calming measures or stopped conditions on the major street. Lanvale stops at Wilmington and at Laburnum. The distance between Wilmington and Laburnum measures about 320’. This condition does not meet the 1200’ length mentioned above therefore speed tables are not planned.
