Comments

- Staff · September 14, 2023Idlewood between where motorists yield near Grayland to where motorists stop at Meadow measures about 1400’. Idlewood also stops about the ½ way point at Shields. DPW considers speed tables where the free flow street measures at least 1200’. Speed tables are not planned in these short street sections. The Department of Public Works (DPW) must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. All all-way stops must meet the warrants in the MUTCD. The intersection of Idlewood and Rowland does not meet the traffic volume requirements for an all-way stop.
