Description
The intersection of Riverside Drive and Southampton Road should be a three-way stop. There is a large amount of traffic accessing the Huguenot Flatwater Entrance. When coming down Riverside Drive to turn onto Southampton, there are a lot of blind spots due to trees and foliage. You must pull out into the road to make certain you are clear from traffic on Southampton. I would like for there to be three stop signs at this intersection (only one exists now).

- Staff · September 25, 2023The Department of Public Works (DPW) must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. All all-way stops must meet the warrants in the MUTCD. This intersection does not currently meet the traffic volume requirements for an all-way stop.
