Description

Requesting a crosswalk be marked running north/south across Maplewood at its intersecion wirh Freeman. There’s signifcant pedestrian use of this intersection during Kickers games, and weekend farmer’s markets, and it is directly adjacent to a bus stop.

    Sent to the City Pedestrian, Bicycle and Trails Coordinator for review.

    The City’s Pedestrian, Bicycle and Trails Coordinator reviewed the request for crosswalks at Maplewood and Freeman. He advised that given the gaps in traffic along with no reported crashes from DMV for the last eight years at the intersection crossings should not be an issue therefore crosswalks are not planned at this time.
