Description
There is an obscene amount of litter in this neighborhood due to people parking here, going down to the river and then leaving their trash on the street when they come up. This neighborhood is essentially used as public parking for the river, but there are very few, if any, trash cans in the neighborhood. It is affecting the quality of life of the people who actually live here.

Comments
- Staff · August 28, 2023Cityworks ID: 509782
- Staff · October 24, 2023Inspection Results: 1. NLO (No Litter Observed) 2. There is a trash can at 1920 Stonewall (bus stop), empty at TOI (Time Of Inspection) indicating it is reasonably attended and not a source of accumulation. 3. Much as I sympathize (literally) with complainant(s) in this area, ongoing litter pick-up is residents/owners' responsibility. 4. "This neighborhood is essentially used as public parking", the requestor writes (see above). Insofar as City park furnishes occasion for higher-than-normal litter in this area, targeted enforcement / abatement might be an occasional RPD / Parks & Rec objective.
