Description
Requesting speed control device on McCloy south of Idlewood. Long stretch of unimpeded traffic w wide lanes encourages speeding drivers. Creates unsafe conditions in the Stadium neighborhood

- Staff · August 21, 2023McCloy has an all-way stop at Idlewood. Then the southern residential section extends to Maplewood, a distance of about 600’. DPW follows the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program guidelines for the installation of speed tables on City streets. The minimum street section measurement for consideration of a speed table is 1200’ of free follow traffic. Given the stopped condition at Idlewood and distance to Maplewood a speed table is not planned at this time.
