Description
Just adding another vote for traffic calming on this section of Overbrook between North and Miller. We've had multiple instances of sideswiping this year, including damage to multiple cars at once this past Sunday (8/6/23). Additionally, a box truck jumped the sidewalk in June and damaged three separate properties. People are always either racing eastbound to beat the light at Overbrook Rd. & North Ave, OR they're speeding away from the light heading westbound. Please install a speed table ASAP

- Staff · August 14, 2023The focused approach to speed management first considers the distance of a free flow street of at least 1200’ in length without traffic signals, existing traffic calming measures or stopped conditions on the major street. Overbrook between North and Fendall has traffic signals at both intersections and measures around 1000’ therefore speed tables are not planned. Overbrook will be field checked for regulatory 25mph signs.
