Description

Belvedere and Holly is dangerous. Two pedestrians killed. Many collisions. Open High students walk across daily to go east across Belvedere to war memorial. When drivers head south they speed up as they approach the bridge. They travel at speeds of 45-75 mph. I am afraid to drive across the bridge to go to Forest Hill Park.

    A pedestrian hybrid beacon is planned for installation on Belvidere near the Virginia War Memorial. These are designed to help pedestrians safely cross at uncontrolled intersections.
