Description
I, a COR employee, went to conduct a home visit with client at 100 W Baker St. Apartments and upon arrival while traveling on Charity St, there was a vehicle in front of me who nearly collided with oncoming vehicle from our left side bc there is no STOP SIGN THAT IS TRULY NEEDED. I spoke with two individuals in area and one reported an accident recently at this intersection and another reported ongoing issues with this intersection bc of no STOP sign-this lack is endangering lives!!!

- Staff · July 28, 2023The Department of Public Works (DPW) must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. All all-way stops must meet the warrants in the MUTCD. The intersection St John and Charity St does not currently meet the traffic volume requirements for an all-way stop. DPW will review the intersection of St John and Charity St for No Parking sign needs to enhance sight distance.
