Description

I, a COR employee, went to conduct a home visit with client at 100 W Baker St. Apartments and upon arrival while traveling on Charity St, there was a vehicle in front of me who nearly collided with oncoming vehicle from our left side bc there is no STOP SIGN THAT IS TRULY NEEDED. I spoke with two individuals in area and one reported an accident recently at this intersection and another reported ongoing issues with this intersection bc of no STOP sign-this lack is endangering lives!!!

The Department of Public Works (DPW) must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. All all-way stops must meet the warrants in the MUTCD. The intersection St John and Charity St does not currently meet the traffic volume requirements for an all-way stop. DPW will review the intersection of St John and Charity St for No Parking sign needs to enhance sight distance.
