- Staff · July 31, 2023Per the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program protocol, the Department has taken a proactive stance for better speed management on residential streets. Specifically on page 10 (pdf page 14) of Neighborhood Traffic Management Program guideline , “In 2021, the Department has identified more than 125 neighborhood streets that require further investigation to determine if traffic calming is justified. These streets are being studied to determine if there is a speeding problem. Based on the results of data collection, streets that warrant traffic calming will be eligible for future funding and implemented in coordination with the Department’s paving program.”
