Description

Cars are constantly speeding in excess of 40 -50MPH in a 25MPH zone in order to cut through neighborhood on Bellevue to Hermitage both east and west bound. There are no stop signs until Fauquier and this stretch of Bellevue is in need of traffic calming measures. This area has many pedestrians, bikers and children walking to school that are at risk by speeding cars.

    The Fire Marshall does not support speed tables on Bellevue Ave given this is a strategic emergency corridor. A DPW mobile speed feedback sign is planned on Bellevue Avenue between Newport Drive and Lamont Street.
