Description
Traffic comes quickly down Oliver Hill Way, and many pedestrians take their lives in their hands trying to cross the multiple lanes of traffic at Marshall Street. Painting a pedestrian crosswalk, and possibly adding a crosswalk light, would make the intersection much safer.

- Staff · July 25, 2023Given three lanes traffic lanes on Oliver Hill and an estimated daily traffic of 13,000 vehicles a day this pedestrian crossing will need more than a crosswalk such as a pedestrian signal which is not in the capital improvement program. We also need to take into consideration a project under design near the I-95 off ramp to Oliver Hill where vehicle and pedestrian improvements are planned. Therefore, a crosswalk is not planned at this time.
