Description

As always happens the sidewalk is impassible due to public works not cutting back vegetational on their property adjacent to sidewalk. Pedestrians are forced into the street with numerous blind spots and turns. Please remediate. This is a recurring issue

    This location has been inspected on 8/22/2023. Weeds and vegetation are the citizen’s responsibility on private property or any part which extends or protrudes into any street, sidewalk, or public right way according to City of Richmond Ordinance Sec. 38-154 (b). Also the sidewalk maintenance program is not funded to install NEW sidewalks. The sidewalk program is responsible for maintenance and repair of existing sidewalks.
