Description
Ive been waiting on someone to return my call since May 8th. I was told something was going to be done about Castlewood Rd last year and nothing has changed. There has been numerous of car accidents in front of my home and all along Castlewood Rd, including death. I have two young children whose afraid to play outside because of the speeding traffic. We need speed tables or something all along Castlewood as soon as possible. Children are not safe and drivers treat the road as if its a highway

The Department plans to continue the use of physical traffic calming measures and install a speed table on Castlewood Road between Alexander Ave and Lamberts Ave by summer 2024 outside of the normal paving program. (Paving schedules may change and the Department cannot be any more specific at this time due to utility work and emergencies.)
