Description

The brand new pedestrian hybrid beacon signal installed at fire station 17 on Semmes Ave. is not working. On 5/31 at approx. 5pm I pushed the “beg button” several times attempting to cross Semmes Ave northward and the light never changed. About 10 minutes later I tried crossing the other direction and had the same experience. Please fix this quickly as this is a very dangerous spot to cross the street without a working signal.
