Description

The meter has been leaking for over a year and various emails have been sent to Rodney Munford, Lisa Smith, and others but nothing has been done. Now the bricks are collapsing around the meter making it a serious tripping hazard. Apparently someone dropped off a single traffic cone on it that folks keep moving away from the spot so it is not doing any good. Is there anything that can be done to help with this situation? thanks

This location has been inspected on 5/31/2023. I Called and spoke with resident that placed the repair request. He stated that he has tried multiple times to contact DPU, because the water meter is leaking on the city side. I advised him that DPW can not complete repairs until DPU fixes the leaky water meter and I will call DPU this morning and set a service request to get the leak repaired. At 8:37 am I called DPU customer service and place a request to have the leak check and repaired. I will follow up with repairs and resident within 24 hours.
