Dear Citizen, Thank you for your inquiry regarding the pedestrian signal timings at the intersection of Libbie Avenue and Grove Avenue. After reviewing the current signal timings with our team, we have determined that pedestrian recall is currently set on the mainline during all timing plans, with additional recall on the side street during Midday and Off-Peak times. This configuration aims to balance traffic flow and pedestrian safety, especially given the high volume of neighborhood and commuter traffic, as well as school-related traffic during peak periods. Maintaining the current signal timings allows us to prioritize safety while efficiently managing traffic conditions. Adjusting the timings as suggested could potentially increase driver frustration and compromise pedestrian safety during busy periods. We appreciate your understanding and feedback on this matter. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions or concerns.
