Very high level of traffic in the block and at the intersection of Leigh St. Various motor vehicles travel through 23rd St and/Leigh St to bypass larger thoroughfares, increasing traffic with little to no speed control. After completing research on this intersection, there has been one crash in the last five years at this location during a rain event. Although this a high traffic and pedestrian area, adding additional stop signs are not warranted at this time. Speed limit signs will be added in both directions of 23rd St. near this intersection.
